As an independent jewellery designer, I love making one off jewellery for people and that I can offer something handmade and different to mass manufactured high street alternatives, while maintaining accessible pricing.

I work in a modern style, but can also produce traditional work. I can remodel old pieces and I can smelt old jewellery down, recycling your own gold into something new. The ethical and earth friendly nature of recycled gold supports my ethos to reduce environmental impact, by creating jewellery that is handmade, sustainable, and will last a lifetime.

 

Recycling old and sentimental family jewellery is perfect for wedding rings. Both families can provide some jewellery, and when the gold melts together this unique blend of gold is used to make both wedding rings. Having both wedding rings made from the same pot of gold is both romantic and meaningful, and  impossible to achieve with commercially produced rings.

 

I have a jewellery design degree (with distinction :-)) and am a Gemmology graduate of the Gemmological Institute of Great Britain so you can put trust in my expertise.

As well as bespoke wedding rings and bespoke engagement rings, I also offer professional jewellery valuations for insurance and probate, as well as repairs and resizing. 

​

I am located in the UK, in the East Midlands, in historic market town of Newark, Nottinghamshire. I am currently working within MBG Jewellery at 41 Castlegate, Newark, Notts, NG24 1BE, where a wide range of antique and vintage jewellery is available.
